The topic and content offered is excellent and addresses high need areas for creatives.
I’ve been to many other small business courses and presentations and these sessions are the best I’ve attended beyond doubt. They are relaxed, encouraging and welcoming and Andrea and all the speakers really ‘get’ the problems of creative businesses.

Who can benefit from attending these events?

If you are a creative person of any level or type you will benefit from attendance. The mini-masterclasses have been designed to cater for all types of creative person – whether they are already in business or just starting out.

As well as the presentation, there will be opportunities for networking – and at such a great venue there is even the opportunity to make a day of it and have lunch or coffee afterwards with friends – even those you meet on the day!

Can I attend even though I'm not a creative business or hobbiest?

While the mini-masterclasses are designed for creatives, all types of businesses can benefit from the information, and you are welcome to attend.

What do I wear?

Wear your casual clothes. We want you to feel comfortable.
Be aware that you will need to wear shoes.

What is parking and public transport like at the venue?

There is plenty of parking at the venue and it is free.
The Wellington Point Train Station is about 20 minutes walk and there are bus stops nearby.

What are the ticket prices?

Tickets for each mini-masterclass are $12.00 plus booking fee.

Can I purchase a ticket on the day?

As we will have morning tea for each event, we need to close RSVP’s a week before each mini-masterclass.
All tickets will be sold online.

Can I get a refund on my ticket? Is my ticket transferable to someone else?

We don’t offer ticket refunds, however, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Applause Genie are a sustainable organisation and we would prefer you didn’t print your ticket. We will have a list of guests to be checked off at the door.

Are the sessions catered? Will there be food that suits my dietary requirements?

Yes, there will be morning tea with a choice of tea or coffee with a cake or slice. 
Those with particular dietary requirements will be catered for.
